In the charmingly clever *MuTeLuv: “Hi” by My Luck*, academic overachiever Err has always been the undisputed ‘racehorse’ of his class—until the arrival of the quiet, math-whiz Mawin. When both qualify for a highly competitive, scholarship-deciding math camp, Err’s confidence crumbles. Desperate to regain control, he follows a friend’s advice and consults an online fortune teller, whose cryptic prediction—'make Mawin fall for him'—sets off a series of sweet, awkward, and unexpectedly heartfelt events. But as the two are forced to share a room and navigate the pressure-cooker camp environment, Err begins to see Mawin not as a rival, but as a kindred spirit. With razor-sharp writing, a refreshing non-toxic rivalry, and a fortune-telling twist that ultimately leads to self-discovery, this miniseries transforms a simple academic contest into a tender coming-of-age story about friendship, first love, and the courage to rewrite your own fate.

I am absolutely obsessed with KeenSea! Their chemistry is so natural that I forgot I was watching a drama—they just *are* Err and Mawin. Every shy smile, every accidental touch made me kick my feet. It’s short but so, so sweet. Perfect comfort watch 💕

The series is well-crafted for its runtime, but the 'fortune teller' twist is predictable from episode one, and the kisses are noticeably wooden. I appreciate the lack of toxic drama, but it sacrifices depth—the academic pressure theme could have been explored much more thoroughly.

Honestly, this is some of the best cinematography I’ve seen in a short-format BL. The lighting during the evening camp scenes is warm and intimate, and the wide shots of the hotel grounds give the whole show a dreamy, nostalgic feel. Every frame looks intentional—a visual treat for anyone who appreciates good directing.

The soundtrack is subtle but perfectly placed—especially the acoustic guitar track that swells during the rooftop confession scene. I've been replaying the main theme on Spotify since I finished. It captures that young, hopeful, slightly nervous feeling of first love. Wish there were more songs!

I really appreciated how the show handled Mawin's social awkwardness and Err's anxiety without mocking them. There's a quiet emphasis on communication, respect for boundaries, and emotional growth. The fortune teller subplot cleverly becomes a metaphor for taking control of your own choices. A refreshingly healthy portrayal of teenage romance.
