I get that it's supposed to be silly, but the lack of any logical progression killed it for me. A CEO confessing love mid-interview to a stranger? And then the roommate jumps in? Zero setup, zero payoff. The ending doesn't even tell us who she ended up with. Complete waste of 40 minutes.

I know it's ridiculous, but I found it adorable! The awkwardness, the dazed expressions, the way Yan Dong just blurts out his feelings – it gave me butterflies. Sure, it's short and messy, but the potential shipping was real. I wish they'd made a full-length version.

As a short comedy maybe it's fine, but the power dynamics disturbed me. The CEO confessing during an interview puts massive pressure on the intern. There's no discussion of boundaries or consent – just 'I like you, now deal with it.' Not my cup of tea at all.
