Narvi is minding his own business on Halloween night when a gorgeous stranger materializes in his apartment. That stranger is Sasin—a ghost from the past, bound to the mortal world by a mysterious lunar pact. As Sasin reveals, they were lovers in a previous life: Narvi was a soldier and Sasin the prince of a kingdom. Now, with only a limited window before the moon shifts and Sasin fades away, he must protect Narvi from lingering threats and win his heart all over again. Part ghost romance, part reincarnation drama, 'Mission to the Moon' weaves together tender present-day moments and bittersweet historical flashbacks. Despite its low-budget production and ultra-short episode format, the series shines through the undeniable chemistry of its leads and its earnest, heartfelt exploration of love that transcends death. I am absolutely here for Mon and Pak! Their chemistry is insane—every kiss and every look made my heart race. Yes, the production is rough and the plot is silly, but who cares when the leads are this adorable? I binged it in one sitting and smiled the whole time. Perfect feel-good watch for hopeless romantics like me.

The premise had so much potential, but the execution was a mess. Pacing is all over the place, logic holes are huge (why can a ghost eat food? why does the ending make zero sense?), and the repetitive recaps kill any momentum. The leads are easy on the eyes, but that's not enough to save this from poor writing and direction.

I wanted to love the dreamy ghost vibe, but the cinematography was a letdown. Many night scenes are so dark and blurry it's hard to see the actors' faces. The historical costumes looked like cheap Halloween rentals. However, the leads are stunning, and when the lighting is decent, the intimate scenes are framed nicely. A decent camera would have elevated this so much.

I struggled with Sasin's lack of respect for Narvi's boundaries—touching him while he sleeps, appearing uninvited in the shower, and cuddling him without permission. The show romanticizes behavior that would be creepy in real life. While the past-life tragedy is poignant, the present-day dynamic left me uncomfortable. Not a healthy model of love.

The main OST is actually quite beautiful and catchy—I found myself humming it for days. But oh my god, it plays way too often, and the random rap breakdown in the middle of a romantic scene is jarring and kills the mood completely. With a more varied soundtrack, this would have been a much more immersive experience. Still, the melody is lovely.
