Eric returns to his provincial hometown carrying his mother's ashes, a final wish to scatter them where she once found peace. There, he unexpectedly reunites with Jericho, his childhood best friend—and first love. As the two men walk familiar streets and visit old haunts, unspoken words and tender memories rise to the surface. Their connection, cut short years ago by circumstance, now flickers with unresolved feelings. Through quiet conversations and lingering glances, they navigate grief, forgiveness, and the question of whether a love interrupted can find a second chance. This intimate, melancholy Filipino film explores the bittersweet ache of revisiting the past, the gentle ache of first love, and the courage it takes to let go—or hold on.

I'm such a sucker for childhood friends to lovers and this film delivered exactly that soft, aching feeling. The glances, the hesitant touches, the way they both still carry that old spark under all the grief—I cried twice. It's not flashy, but it's so real.

I wanted to love it, but the pacing is painfully slow and nothing really happens beyond two men walking around and having vague conversations. The whole 'scatter the ashes' setup feels underutilized, and the ending left me frustrated rather than satisfied.

The lighting and framing are surprisingly lovely for a low-budget web film—lots of golden hour shots and soft focus that match the nostalgic tone. The camera lingers on faces just long enough to let the emotion sink in. A few shaky handheld moments, but overall a visual treat.

I appreciate that the film treats grief and queer love with sensitivity, but the dynamic between Eric and Jericho feels emotionally stalled. Neither character openly communicates their feelings until the very end, which made me question whether this is a healthy reunion or just unresolved trauma clinging on.

The background score is simple but effective—a soft piano theme that swells during the key flashbacks. I wish there were a proper OST release because the music carried the emotional weight more than some of the dialogue. Still, it's not enough to make the film stand out.
