I loved the tension between Ren and the two guys! Even though it’s super short, the chemistry felt so real—especially the soft moments between him and Lenny. I wish it were longer so I could see more of their relationship grow.

The political backdrop is interesting, but the characters feel underdeveloped because of the runtime. I couldn’t really understand why Ren would choose one over the other. The ending felt rushed and left too many questions unanswered.

I appreciate that the film ties romance to activism—it’s rare to see queer characters engaged in political struggle. However, the consent dynamics felt a bit murky, and Lenny’s confession comes across as manipulative. Worth watching for representation but flawed in execution.

The grainy, handheld camera work gives it a real indie vibe that suits the activist setting. The lighting in the protest scenes and the quiet dorm-room talks felt very intentional. Not a technical masterpiece, but it’s visually honest and fits the story perfectly.
