I really wanted to love this more because the two leads had such soft chemistry, and the provincial setting was beautiful. But the story felt way too rushed – just when I was getting invested, it ended. Still, those few sweet scenes made me smile, and I’ll keep an eye out for Armyr in future projects.

The film tries to be a heartfelt romance but falls flat due to a thin script and awkward pacing. The dialogue feels stilted, and the conflict (if you can call it that) resolves too easily. I appreciate the attempt at representation, but execution matters, and this short needed stronger writing.

Some shots were genuinely lovely – the golden hour lighting and the way the camera lingered on the characters' faces captured a certain vulnerability. But the overall production felt amateurish: inconsistent audio and rough editing pulled me out of the mood. A promising visual eye, but not polished enough.

While I support more queer Filipino stories, this short glosses over important nuances of coming out in a conservative community. The romance feels too sanitized – no real exploration of internalized shame or societal pressure, which would have added depth. It's a missed opportunity for meaningful commentary.
