Magic of Zero is a whimsical three-part anthology that reunites beloved GMMTV couples for fresh, self-contained adventures sprinkled with a dash of magic. Each 50-minute episode explores a different relationship dynamic—lesbian, straight, and gay—while cleverly integrating its sponsor, Oishi Honey Lemon Green Tea, into the storytelling. In "Zero Photography," we rejoin Ink and Pa from Bad Buddy as a time-travel mishap forces Pa to relive their first meeting, teaching her to cherish every captured moment. "Zero in the Moonlight" introduces an original pair: a graphic designer with a bizarre phobia of perfect circles and a cheerful colleague who helps her confront her lunar-triggered secret. Finally, "Zero Supporter" brings back Korn and Win from Cupid's Last Wish for a body-swap comedy that tests their communication and commitment. Light, fluffy, and unabashedly a commercial, this miniseries wins hearts by giving fans more screen time with their favorite actors and delivering sweet, low-stakes romance with a supernatural twist.

I am SO here for more InkPa content! Zero Photography had me tearing up at the time travel lesson—Milk and Love have insane chemistry even without a proper kiss. The other episodes were cute too, but that first one is pure gold. Give me a full GL series with them, GMMTV!

I get that it's an ad, but even for an ad the logic is shaky. Episode 2's phobia made zero sense—how does Maki eat from a round bowl but panic at glasses? And episode 3's body swap was just a rehash of Cupid's Last Wish. The acting carries it, but the writing feels slapped together.

Visually, this little anthology is surprisingly polished. The soft color grading and use of natural light give each episode a dreamy, commercial-like sheen. I especially loved the photo montage in episode 1—it felt like flipping through a warm memory. Not deep, but pretty to look at.

I wanted to love this, but the fat-shaming comments in episodes 1 and 3 left a sour taste. Both actors are perfectly healthy, so the script's obsession with weight feels unnecessary and harmful. Also, that ‘non-con photo’ plot point was handled too lightly. Still, seeing a main GL couple is a step forward.

Ignore the haters—this is pure comfort content! Yes, it's an ad, but it's an ad that actually cares about its characters. EarthMix being dorks in body swap mode made me laugh out loud, and TuDew's werecat twist was weirdly adorable. I finished all three episodes in one happy sitting.
