In the glittering but morally bankrupt world of Bangkok's elite, 'Lust' follows the dangerously entangled lives of two men locked in a game of power, obsession, and forbidden desire. When a ruthless billionaire tycoon, whose wealth can buy anything—including people—sets his sights on a fiercely independent and enigmatic young man, their relationship spirals into a consuming vortex of raw lust and emotional manipulation. As boundaries blur between coercion and consent, the series delves deep into the dark underbelly of desire, where money is the ultimate aphrodisiac and every touch comes with a price. Adapted from a popular novel, this Thai BL dares to ask: Can love exist when one person holds all the power? With stunning cinematography that captures both the opulence and the emptiness of privilege, and a cast led by Ne Neti Suwanjinda and MAME, 'Lust' is a provocative, sensual, and unflinching exploration of the fine line between passion and possession.

I am absolutely OBSESSED. The chemistry between Ne and MAME is off the charts—every scene feels so raw and real. Sure, it's dark, but that only makes their moments of vulnerability hit harder. If you're a sucker for intense, all-consuming love stories, this is it. My heart can't take it!

I wanted to love this, but the pacing drags in the middle episodes and some of the power dynamics feel more like plot convenience than realistic psychology. The leads have presence, but the story relies too heavily on shock value. It's an okay watch if you don't think too hard about the logistics.

Visually, this is a masterpiece. The way they use shadows and mirrors to reflect the characters' internal conflict is stunning. Every frame is like a painting—dark, sensual, and perfectly composed. The color grading alone tells half the story. I'd watch it just for the cinematography even if the plot were weak.

As someone who read the novel first, I have mixed feelings. The drama captures the mood and the steamy essence beautifully, but it tones down the more graphic non-con elements, which changes the dynamic. Still, the core obsession and desperation are there, and the actors sell it well. Good adaptation, not perfect.

I appreciate that the show tackles dark themes, but it often romanticizes coercive behavior without sufficient critique. The power imbalance is treated more as a sexy trope than a serious issue. We need more nuanced consent discussions in BL. Entertaining, but ethically problematic.
