Love You Teacher flips the BL script by starting its love story *after* the happy ever after. Pobmek (Perth) is an elementary school teacher who doesn't particularly like kids, but he adores his boyfriend Solar (Santa), a beloved teacher who radiates warmth for his students. Their life is a comfortable rhythm of shared meals, playful banter, and unwavering support. That rhythm shatters when a car accident leaves Solar with a mysterious form of amnesia: his adult self is gone, replaced by 'Sun,' a seven-year-old version of himself who has no memory of the past decade. Now Pobmek must navigate teaching a classroom of real children while caring for a boyfriend who is suddenly a child—and who unpredictably switches back to his adult self with no memory of Sun's actions. This isn't a story of falling in love; it's a story of staying in love when the person you adore becomes a stranger in the most heartbreaking way. Balancing comedy with profound emotional weight, the series explores trauma, caregiving exhaustion, and the quiet resilience of a partnership tested to its limits. With stunning visuals, a standout performance from Santa playing two distinct personalities, and a script that gingerly handles sensitive themes without losing its warm, hopeful core, *Love You Teacher* is a tender, often hilarious, and occasionally devastating journey about what it truly means to choose someone every single day.

I am SOBBING. Perth and Santa have proven that staying in love is just as beautiful as falling in love. The way Pobmek looks at Solar—even when Solar is Sun—ugh, my heart can't take it. This is the most tender, realistic portrayal of a long-term relationship I've seen in BL. Every hug, every worried glance feels earned. Absolute masterpiece, I'm rewatching immediately.

The acting is stellar—Santa is incredible—but the plot relies way too heavily on everyone being an idiot. No one bothers to get Solar real, sustained psychiatric help? They just sing a song and hope for the best? The school administration and parents accepting a man with obvious trauma teaching kids is laughable. A beautiful production wasted on a contrived, frustrating storyline.

This drama is a visual feast. The use of warm, saturated colors in the present versus cooler tones in flashbacks perfectly mirrors Pobmek's emotional state. The camera work when Solar switches to Sun—the subtle change in focus, the slightly wider lens—is genius. Every frame feels intentional. I could watch this on mute and still be moved.

I was bracing for the worst, but the show handles the age regression with surprising sensitivity. The script is careful never to romanticize the adult Pobmek's relationship with child-like Sun—it's purely caretaking. I also appreciated how it portrayed Pobmek's own childhood trauma and the pressure of being the 'strong one.' My only wish is that they'd dedicated more screen time to the therapy process rather than just hand-waving it. Still, a thoughtful and much-needed conversation starter.

The OST is gorgeous—the main theme 'Stay With Me' plays at just the right moments and always makes me tear up. The lullaby that Pobmek uses to calm Sun is hauntingly beautiful. But I wish there were more instrumental tracks that reflected the switch between Solar and Sun. Still, the music elevates the emotional beats enormously.
