Picking up where the main series left off, the *Love Sea Special Episode* is a sun-drenched epilogue that reunites us with writer Tongrak (Peat Wasuthorn) and his island-born love Mahasamut (Fort Thitipong) for a blissful chapter of domesticity and future-planning. Meanwhile, the GL couple Vivi and Khaimuk join them for a vacation, offering a gentle subplot of their own slow-burn romance. I absolutely loved every minute of this special! Rak and Mut are just so precious together – their little moments of teasing, the way Mut looks at Rak, the underwater kiss… it’s pure romance. I came here for fluff and got it in spades. No drama, just happiness. My heart is so full!

Honestly, this was boring as hell. Nothing happens for over an hour – they just wander around the beach, talk about nothing, and kiss a bit. The GL subplot is barely there, and the whole thing feels like a glorified fan service reel. If you need eye candy and nice scenery, sure, but there’s zero story. Skip it.

The cinematography is absolutely breathtaking. Each shot of the ocean, the golden hour light on the sand, the clarity of the water – it’s a visual poem. I replayed the underwater kiss scene three times just to admire the lighting and framing. The plot is thin, but the beauty of the island makes up for it if you appreciate good direction.

I was here mainly for Mook and Vie, and I’m so glad they finally got some screen time! Their dynamic is sweet and understated – I wish the main series had developed them more. The special gives them a little closure, even though it’s mostly Rak and Mut being cute. I’ll take what I can get!

This special is a soft, comforting watch that emphasizes mutual respect and communication in a relationship. Rak and Mut openly discuss their future, check in on each other’s feelings, and show physical affection with clear consent and tenderness. It’s refreshing to see a BL couple model a healthy, emotionally mature partnership without forced drama. A bit slow, but meaningful.
