In this raucous Thai comedy, Khao's life is thrown into chaos when a fortune teller warns him to abstain from sex for 30 days. Just as he commits to this challenge, his charming coworker Nut moves in, often lounging in nothing but his underwear. What follows is a comedic test of willpower, filled with absurd misunderstandings, eccentric friends—including two outspoken transgender women—and a bizarre subplot involving a wealthy, possessive sugar daddy. A sequel to the 2015 original, *Love Next Door 2* blends slapstick humor with steamy moments, though its portrayal of queer characters has drawn sharp criticism for being regressive. While the central couple's chemistry is minimal, the film offers a chaotic, over-the-top glimpse into early Thai BL filmmaking.

I went in hoping for a fun, silly BL comedy, but I was shocked by how blatantly transphobic and queer-shaming this film is. The transgender characters are treated as jokes or predatory figures, and the main couple has zero romantic chemistry. The only redeeming thing is that some of the actors tried their best with terrible material. Honestly, this should come with a content warning a mile long.

It's a mess, but I'll admit I smiled a few times. The abstinence plotline leads to some genuinely funny moments, and Nut's side story with the creepy sugar daddy is so absurd it almost works as satire. However, the pacing is all over the place, and the gun scene at the end makes no sense. Not the worst Thai BL I've seen, but definitely not good.

I was so disappointed. I kept waiting for the romantic tension between Khao and Nut to develop, but they barely interact. The whole film is about weird side plots and offensive jokes. The sex scene at the end felt forced and one-sided. If you want real chemistry, watch something else. Save your time.

The cinematography is rough—typical low-budget Thai film with harsh lighting and shaky handheld shots. That said, there are a few frames where Nut is lit beautifully, and the color palette tries for a warm, playful vibe. But the cheap look can't save the disjointed script or the uncomfortable humor. Not a visual treat by any stretch.
