What Color Is Your Love? is a tender Thai short film that blurs the line between romance and advertisement, delivering a heartfelt exploration of unspoken feelings between two best friends. The story follows Tonkhao, a quiet soul who has long harbored a crush on his best friend Talay, but fears risking their friendship. When a simple question about love's color sparks a deeper conversation, the two navigate the delicate shift from friendship to something more. Set against a backdrop of vibrant, metaphor-rich visuals, this short gem uses color symbolism to represent the evolving shades of their relationship. A beautifully crafted, bite-sized romance that captures the sweetness and anxiety of confessing to a friend, it's a perfect watch for anyone who believes in the power of small moments and bold truths.

I am SO soft for this. The way they look at each other during that color conversation gave me butterflies. It's such a pure, simple love story that made me believe in soulmates again. Absolutely adorable.

It's cute but feels more like a commercial than a narrative. The plot is basically just 'friend confesses' stretched into 15 minutes. I get that it's a short film, but I wanted a little more substance or conflict.

The color grading in this is gorgeous. Every hue feels intentional—warm tones for comfort, cool blues for distance. The framing during the confession scene is pure poetry. A visual treat from start to finish.

I appreciate how the film gently handles consent and emotional safety. The lead never pressures his friend—he simply opens a conversation. It's a refreshing example of respectful queer romance without drama for drama's sake.
