In the tender South Korean short film *Love Is Right*, two young musicians find their lives harmonizing in unexpected ways. Jiho (Ki Myoung Je) is a reserved pianist struggling to compose his own melody after a career setback, while Minhyuk (Lee Dong Ho) is a free-spirited guitarist who busks on the streets for the joy of sharing his songs. When a chance encounter brings their instruments together on a rainy Seoul evening, a quiet but powerful connection begins to form. As they collaborate on a new piece, Jiho learns to trust his heart again, and Minhyuk discovers that some harmonies are worth more than applause. This music-infused romance captures the vulnerability of first love and the courage it takes to play your own notes. With its intimate storytelling and soulful soundtrack, *Love Is Right* is a heartfelt gem that proves the right love can make even the quietest melody sing.

I'm a sucker for soft, music-driven romances and this one hit all the right notes. Jiho and Minhyuk had such gentle chemistry—I felt myself smiling through the whole duet scene. Wish it were longer, but for a short film it delivered all the feels.

The acting is fine and the music is pleasant, but the story barely has time to breathe. It feels more like a teaser than a complete narrative. The conflict is resolved too quickly and the character motivations are sketchy. A decent vibe but not much substance.

I watched this for the visual composition and was not disappointed. The soft golden lighting in the practice room, the rain-soaked street scenes, and the close-ups of fingers on piano keys—it's all shot with a painterly eye. A beautiful-looking short that understands the power of a lingering frame.

The music is the real star here. The original piano and guitar piece they create together is stuck in my head for days. It perfectly mirrors their emotional journey. I wish the OST was available on streaming platforms—I'd loop it constantly. A must-watch for anyone who loves BL with a soulful score.

It's a sweet, non-problematic romance that doesn't rely on any harmful tropes—no coercion, no power imbalance. The characters communicate openly and respect each other's space. My only critique is that the story is too short to explore deeper themes like internalized homophobia or societal pressure. Pleasant but shallow.
