When global superstar Piuno (Mew Suppasit) faces a career-threatening scandal, his management hatches a desperate plan: send him to work at a pet daycare in South Korea. It's the worst possible assignment for the Thai idol, who has suffered from zoophobia since childhood. At the Dog Cafe, he meets Lee Dae Byeol (JM from JUST B), the warm-hearted owner who lives and breathes for animals. As Piuno begrudgingly navigates barking dogs and furry chaos, he slowly chips away at his trauma with Dae Byeol's patient guidance. But this isn't just a story about overcoming fear—it's a cross-cultural, dual-language romance that blossoms between two worlds. Despite the title, the drama uses its canine cast to explore themes of healing, trust, and unconditional love. With short 15-minute episodes, this Korean-BL collaboration offers a lighthearted, fast-paced watch for those seeking a gentle slow-burn with a side of adorable pets.

I really wanted to like this, but the script is a mess. It takes five episodes for the leads to actually talk, and by the time they fall in love, we've seen only three shared moments. The 'dog cafe' has one dog and no customers—how does that business even exist? The ending is rushed, antagonists get no consequences, and the whole thing feels like a wasted HD camera rental. Not the worst BL, but definitely one of the most frustrating.

I don't understand the hate! Yes, it's slow and weird—a dog cafe without dogs, really?—but the chemistry between Mew and JM is so soft and genuine. I loved watching Piuno learn to trust again, and Dae Byeol's patience melted my heart. The press conference scene made me cry. It's a sweet, low-stress watch that reminds me why I love BL. Also, JM's smile is illegal.

Visually, this drama has some gorgeous moments—the color grading is warm and cozy, and there's a lovely shot of the main leads under fairy lights that I replayed three times. But the editing is choppy, with bizarre jump cuts and continuity errors (daylight to pitch black in one cut?). The production value is there, but without a solid story to frame it, the pretty pictures feel empty. A shame.

This series touches on coercion, blackmail, and non-consensual photo sharing, but handles them with shocking carelessness. The 'traitor' character faces zero accountability, and the forced outing of the leads is brushed aside. I appreciate the attempt to discuss trauma and healing, but the writing undermines any real social commentary. Also, the main leads' first kiss lacks any build-up—it feels convenient rather than earned.

Okay, the plot has holes big enough to drive a truck through, but the OST? Absolute banger. Mew's vocals in the theme song give me chills, and the instrumental pieces match the emotional beats perfectly. I found myself humming the tunes days later. If you can ignore the storyline and just vibe with the music and the cute dog scenes, it's a pleasant way to spend three hours.
