Love from Outta Space is a charming 20-minute Thai short film that blends sci-fi with sweet romance. When a clueless alien (Gun Atthaphan) crash-lands on Earth during a rainy night, he is discovered by the warm and energetic Off (Jumpol Adulkittiporn). As Off takes it upon himself to teach the extraterrestrial visitor about human customs and feelings, a tender bond forms between them. The alien's innocent, gender-blind perspective hilariously questions societal norms, while Off's open-heartedness makes for a delightful contrast. Set against a nostalgic 90s-inspired pink-purple color palette, this ad for Baby Bright is a visually stunning, heartwarming tale about love that transcends worlds. With its fluffy tone and a subtle exploration of bisexuality, it's a quick, feel-good watch for any BL fan.

I can't get over how beautiful this is! Off and Gun are just magic together. The way Gun's alien looks at Off with such innocent curiosity, and Off's patient, warm smile – my heart melted. This short is pure fluff and I've rewatched it five times.

The color palette is everything. That pink-purple 90s vibe makes every frame look like a soft painting. The lighting during the rainy scenes is dreamy. As a cinematography nerd, I appreciate how the visual choice reinforces the theme of seeing the world through fresh eyes.

While very short, this film cleverly uses an alien's perspective to question gender binaries and societal norms. The alien doesn't understand why humans separate by gender, which is a subtle but powerful message. Off's character doesn't pressure or correct – he simply accepts. That's refreshing representation.

As a short advertisement, it's cute, but I can't rate it higher than a 6. The plot is minimal – alien lands, learns, kisses. No conflict, no stakes. The core message is sweet but barely developed. It's a nice 20-minute distraction, not a masterpiece. The high ratings are mostly due to OffGun fandom.
