Set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, *Love by Fehler* follows two childhood friends, one a diligent student and the other a struggling orphan living alone. As remote classes blur the lines between reality and longing, the diligent student's secret feelings for his best friend deepen. But when illness strikes and a well-meaning teacher steps in to help, a moment of desperation leads to a devastating false accusation. This short, emotionally charged series explores the painful consequences of misguided love, the fragility of trust, and whether friendship can survive a lie that spirals out of control. Despite its rough edges, the drama offers a raw, unfiltered look at how isolation and desperation can warp even the purest bonds.

I honestly can't decide what's worse—the shaky camera that made me nauseous, the laughable wig on the teacher, or a script that has zero logic. A student accusing his teacher of harassment just because he snapped a photo out of jealousy? And then everyone forgives each other like nothing happened? This is an insult to storytelling.

I wanted to support a PH BL tackling pandemic loneliness, but the false accusation plot is handled with zero sensitivity. The power imbalance between teacher and student is dangerous, and the show never addresses the real harm of such lies. Even as drama, it feels irresponsible. Disappointing.

The visual quality is painful—constant autofocus hunting, grain everywhere, and lighting that washes out everyone's faces. There's one nice shot of rain against a window, but that's it. This needed a real crew and proper equipment to do the emotional tone justice.

I love the premise of a secret crush on your best friend during lockdown, and the leads do have fleeting moments of genuine sweetness. But the plot derails so hard with that false accusation that I couldn't root for the romance anymore. A missed opportunity.

Okay, the series is rough, but the piano score during the confession scene actually made me tear up. The music is honestly the best part—it tries hard to carry the emotion that the acting can't. If only the rest of the production matched the OST's heart.
