For Gyu Ho, life is a blur—literally. With poor eyesight and cripplingly low self-esteem, the homebody nerd has built a safe cocoon inside his apartment, where the world beyond his screens feels unreachable. Everything changes when he stumbles into a small optical shop and meets Min Seung, a sweet, attentive optician who doesn’t just correct his vision—he gently challenges Gyu Ho’s self-imposed isolation. Through fitting new glasses and probing conversations, Min Seung helps Gyu Ho see himself clearly for the first time. But as the frames clarify the world outside, Gyu Ho must decide if he’s brave enough to let someone into his blurry, guarded heart. This tender two-episode Korean web series is a bite-sized journey of vulnerability, new beginnings, and the quiet magic of being truly seen.

This was exactly the warm hug I needed. Kim Min Wook captures Gyu Ho’s awkwardness so perfectly, and Im Gun Hyuk’s gentle optician had me smiling the whole time. The glasses metaphor is gorgeous, and even though it’s only two episodes, it feels complete. A little slow for some maybe, but I loved every second.

For a two-episode web series, it does a decent job of establishing character arcs, but the pacing is uneven—the first episode drags while the second rushes the resolution. Gyu Ho’s internal monologue could have been trimmed. Still, the central idea is sweet and the acting carries it.

The cinematography is lovely—soft, warm tones, clever use of shallow depth of field to mirror Gyu Ho’s blurred vision. The scene where he first puts on the glasses and the world snaps into focus gave me chills. Every shot feels intentional. A visual treat for a mini-series.

Refreshing to see a BL that treats consent and personal boundaries with such care. Min Seung never pushes Gyu Ho, always asking before touching or stepping closer. The slow pace actually reinforces Gyu Ho’s need for safety. A thoughtful portrait of how love can be healing without being invasive.

As my first Korean BL, this was a nice gentle start. The story is simple but sweet, and the leads have great chemistry. I wish it were longer because I wanted to see more of their relationship develop. Still, it’s cute and easy to finish in one sitting.
