I really wanted to love this because the premise is so cute—two lonely people finding each other during lockdown! The leads have a sweet, awkward chemistry that warmed my heart, but the filming quality and sound were distracting. Still, for a quick, free watch on YouTube, it’s okay if you lower your expectations.

The concept had potential but the execution fell flat. The dialogue feels unnatural and the pacing is all over the place—one minute they’re strangers, the next they’re practically in love. No real conflict or character development. It’s more like a student project than a polished film.

I appreciate that they filmed during actual lockdown, which gives it a documentary-like authenticity. But the lighting is flat and the framing is often awkward. There’s one nice shot of the leads talking through a window that almost feels cinematic, but overall it looks like a home video.

As a pandemic artifact, this film does a decent job showing how loneliness can push people to connect. However, the romance feels rushed and lacks meaningful conversations about boundaries or identity. For a BL story, it skips over the emotional labor of coming out or even discussing safer dating during a crisis.
