Earth is a high school senior drowning in pressure from his overbearing parents, who see nothing but his grades and a future they've planned for him. His only escape is the guitar he secretly plays. Everything changes when Sun, a bright and relentlessly cheerful boy, moves in next door. Sun is sunshine personified—persistent, kind, and utterly smitten with the brooding musician next door. As Sun chips away at Earth's walls, a tender, heart-fluttering romance blooms between the two neighbors. But just as Earth begins to open up, the arrival of Mog—a sweet classmate who develops feelings for Sun—complicates things. Earth's jealousy triggers a rift, forcing both boys to confront their fears and desires. With a simple, intimate setting and a focus on real emotions, 'Location' is a gentle, feel-good film about first love, finding your voice, and the courage to be yourself.

I was smiling like an idiot the entire runtime! Earth and Sun have the most adorable grumpy/sunshine dynamic, and their kisses are so natural and sweet. The way Sun just refuses to give up on Earth? Melts my heart. Plus, Mog is such a good guy—no crazy jealousy plots, just mature hurt. This is instant comfort watch material.

For such a low-budget film, the lighting and framing are surprisingly cozy. Lots of warm golden tones in the neighbor’s yard scenes, and the musical montage with the guitar felt very intimate. The editing is simple but effective—no flashy cuts, just letting the actors' expressions carry the story. I'd love to see the director work with a bigger budget.

It's sweet but nothing groundbreaking. The parents' complete turnaround after Earth runs away is painfully unrealistic—real controlling parents don't just hand you a car and say 'do whatever you want.' The conflict wraps up way too neatly. Still, the actors are charming and the kissing is well done. Worth a watch if you're in the mood for zero-brain fluff.

I appreciated how the film handled Mog's one-sided feelings—he backs off gently without guilt-tripping anyone, which is a rare and healthy portrayal. However, Earth's parents' control is portrayed as a simple hurdle that disappears after a day of rebellion, which glosses over the real struggle many teens face. The leads' relationship develops with mutual respect and clear boundaries, so that's a win.

The acoustic guitar melodies Earth plays are simple but so evocative—they perfectly capture his longing and frustration. The background score is understated but effective during the romantic montages. I wish there was a full OST release because the song Sun hums while they share earbuds has been stuck in my head for days.
