In the quiet hallways of a Seoul high school, two boys navigate the blurred lines between friendship and something more. Jinseo, a thoughtful and reserved student, has always kept his world small—until he’s paired with Yejun, a gentle soul hiding a passion for photography, for a semester-long class project. What starts as awkward lunch meetings and shared earphones slowly blossoms into a tender, uncertain romance. From stolen glances on the rooftop to late-night voice messages, 'Like' captures the electric anxiety and sweetness of first love. This six-episode Korean BL strips away melodrama, instead offering a slice-of-life story about self-acceptance and the courage to say what’s in your heart. With soft cinematography and deeply human performances, it’s a coming-of-age gem that feels like a warm hug for anyone who’s ever been afraid to fall.

I’ve watched dozens of BLs but none have made me feel this giddy. The way Jinseo softly brushes Yejun’s hand during the rooftop scene? I literally squealed. Their chemistry is so natural that I forgot they were acting. A perfect slow-burn that left me smiling all day.

It's a cute story, but the pacing feels rushed due to the short episode count. Some moments—like the sudden third-act conflict—come out of nowhere and resolve too easily. If it had two more episodes to breathe, it would be a solid 9. Still, the emotional beats land well.

The visual poetry here is stunning. Every scene is bathed in warm, golden light—especially the cherry blossom montage. The director uses reflections and framing to show emotional distance perfectly. I paused multiple times just to admire the composition. A must-watch for anyone who loves beautiful imagery.

What I loved is how seriously the show takes boundaries. Jinseo asks before holding Yejun’s hand, and they talk openly about their feelings. It’s refreshing to see a queer teen romance that models healthy communication without making it preachy. Minor quibble: the camera lingers a bit too long on Yejun’s shyness, which felt slightly voyeuristic.

The acoustic guitar score is gorgeous—especially the track 'Like You' that plays during the love confession. It’s simple but so effective. I immediately added it to my playlist. The ambient sounds (rain, rustling leaves) also add a layer of intimacy that makes the romance feel real.
