Life, like a load of laundry, can get tangled, wrinkled, and stained. Jae Min is a 30-year-old job seeker burdened by anxiety and self-doubt, finding his life stuck on a rinse cycle. By chance, he meets Ji Seok, a charismatic and flirty 34-year-old who has voluntarily left his high-pressure career to prioritize his mental health. Their unexpected connection begins in the hum of a 24-hour laundromat—a place where clothes are cleaned and minds are rinsed. Ji Seok, whom Jae Min affectionately dubs 'Mr. Laundry,' becomes an unlikely mentor, offering gentle advice and even a new suit for interviews. As they navigate job rejections, late-night conversations, and the quiet intimacy of folding clothes, their bond deepens into something more. This short but heartfelt Korean BL series uses the laundromat as a metaphor for washing away life's grime and finding renewal. With strong chemistry between the leads and a tender, slice-of-life approach, *Laundry Romance* proves that sometimes the most meaningful connections happen in the most ordinary places.

I am absolutely melted by Park Hyun Jun and Lee Ha Jin! Their chemistry is off the charts—every glance makes my heart flutter. The laundromat setting is so cozy and intimate. I only wish it were longer because I could watch them fold laundry and fall in love for hours.

The potential is there, but the extreme shortness really hurts it. The reason Ji Seok avoids getting close feels forced and underdeveloped. The constant recaps in each episode waste precious minutes. Still, the acting is decent and the metaphor is sweet. It's a quick snack, not a full meal.

For a low-budget production, the lighting and framing in the laundromat scenes are surprisingly thoughtful. The warm tones and soft focus create a dreamy, safe atmosphere that matches the theme. I just wish they had cut the flashbacks and given us more original footage to appreciate their visual choices.

I appreciate how the drama handles Ji Seok's voluntary unemployment as a valid choice for mental health—it's a rare and positive message. Jae Min's anxiety is portrayed realistically without being mocked. The relationship builds on mutual respect and emotional support, which is refreshing for the genre. A little more depth would have made this excellent.
