Burdened with overwhelming debt and a criminal record, Mhok, a gritty auto mechanic with a hidden heart of gold, takes a high-paying job as a caregiver to Day, a once-promising badminton star now rapidly losing his sight due to a rare eye infection. Day, proud and fiercely independent, initially resists pity, but Mhok's refusal to treat him as fragile—and his quiet acts of thoughtfulness—slowly breaks down Day's walls. What begins as a transactional arrangement blossoms into a tender, slow-burn romance as Mhok helps Day navigate a world going dark, while Day teaches Mhok that trust and love can heal even the deepest wounds. Through shared silences, playful challenges, and a race against time to see the last beautiful things, Last Twilight is a profoundly moving story about finding light in the shadows, second chances, and the transformative power of being truly seen.

I have never cried so much during a BL. JimmySea's chemistry is off the charts—every tender moment between Mhok and Day felt like a punch to the heart. The bookshop scene? I'm still not over it. This series understands that love isn't about grand gestures but about being there, even when the world goes dark. Absolutely beautiful.

I wanted to love this more, but the last episode really let me down. The three-year separation felt forced, and the miracle cornea transplant undercut all the beautiful character growth about accepting blindness. Day's journey to independence was the heart of the show—giving him back his sight in the final 30 minutes felt like a cop-out. Still, great performances and a solid first 10 episodes.

William's 'Last Twilight' is now permanently on my playlist. The way the song swells during the mountain scene—I got chills. The music supervisor did an incredible job weaving emotional cues into every pivotal moment. Even the background piano pieces perfectly mirrored Day's fading sight. This series sounds as beautiful as it looks.

As someone with a disability, I appreciated that the show didn't frame Day's blindness as a tragedy to be 'fixed'—until the end. The early episodes are masterful at showing how overprotective family members can actually harm autonomy. Mhok's patient, non-pitying care is a model for how to support a partner. However, the sudden sight restoration sends a messy message. Still, meaningful conversations around consent and independence are rare in BL, so kudos for trying.

I came for JimmySea but stayed for Night and Porjai. Their story—a guilt-ridden brother finding love with a single mom—hit me harder than the main couple. Mark Pakin as Night broke my heart in the Christmas dinner scene. The way he gradually forgives himself and learns to love without shadowing his brother's light is everything. This series has so much depth in every relationship.
