Set before the events of *Kiss: The Series*, *Kiss Me Again* dives into the messy, dramatic lives of the San sisters—Sansuay, Sanson, and Sanwan—as they navigate first loves, jealousy, and family pressure. But the real treasure here is the origin story of fan-favorite BL couple Pete and Kao. Starting as bitter enemies who can't stop brawling in the hallways, their hate slowly blossoms into a tender, awkward romance that feels raw and genuine. With a chaotic ensemble of couples, including a questionable ex-girlfriend and a supportive friend group led by the beloved Sandee, this series is a rollercoaster of teenage angst, misplaced affections, and unexpected moments of heart. While the straight plots can feel clichéd and over-the-top, the Pete/Kao storyline offers a refreshing enemies-to-lovers arc with surprising emotional depth. If you're here for the BL, you'll find the emotional core that made *Dark Blue Kiss* possible.

I legit only watched for Pete and Kao and wow, they did not disappoint! Their hate-to-love evolution is so raw and real, I could feel the tension through my screen. That accidental kiss made me scream—it's cringe but perfect. TayNew's chemistry is on another level. The straight parts? Skipped them all, no regrets. This is a must-watch for any PeteKao fan.

Too many couples, too little focus. The non-BL stories are predictable and often infuriating—Sanson's stalker antics and Sanwan's romanticized sexual assault are hard to stomach. Even the PeteKao arc suffers from rushed pacing and weird product placements for soup. I appreciate the attempt at a multi-couple drama, but execution is messy. Watch *Dark Blue Kiss* instead.

This show is a textbook case of romanticizing toxic behavior. Sanson literally outs Matt without consent, pays girls to sexually harass him, and they end up a couple? Sanwan's love interest is a sexual harasser who almost rapes her—yet the narrative frames him as redeemed. The PeteKao arc is the only remotely healthy relationship, and even that has a manipulative ex-girlfriend plot. I cannot recommend this to anyone aware of consent issues.

Okay, I'll admit I fast-forwarded through half the episodes, but the OST is an absolute banger! That main theme song still lives in my head rent-free. The repetitive background music during emotional scenes does get annoying, but the opening track alone gave me chills. Pete and Kao's story is cute enough, and the music elevated those moments. Just wish the show had better editing to match the soundtrack's energy.

The color grading is warm and nostalgic, which suits the high school setting. Some shots of Pete and Kao's fights are well-framed, but the constant blocking of straight kisses frustrates me—why even cut away? The lighting in the soup kitchen scenes is distractingly artificial. Overall, it's visually inconsistent: a few gorgeous close-ups buried under choppy editing and too many slow-motion sequences. Not a visual masterpiece, but not a total disaster either.
