When Min, a gentle stuntman drowning in debt and desperate to pay for his younger brother's life-saving medication, accepts a shady job as a kidnapper, he never expects to find love. His target is Q, the charming but traumatized son of a righteous police officer. Min's employer orders him to kill Q, but Min can't pull the trigger. Instead, he fakes Q's death and hides him in his own home. What begins as a tense hostage situation slowly transforms into an unlikely sanctuary, where two wounded souls learn to trust, heal, and fall in love. With Ohm delivering a powerhouse performance as the soft-hearted 'kidnapper' and newcomer Leng bringing raw vulnerability to Q, Kidnap subverts expectations at every turn. The series balances heart-pounding action with tender romance, exploring themes of found family, trauma, and the courage it takes to choose kindness in a brutal world. While the plot occasionally stumbles, the undeniable chemistry between the leads makes this a compelling watch for fans of emotional, character-driven BL dramas.

I don't care what anyone says – OhmLeng's chemistry is off the charts! Every scene they share feels so natural and full of love. The way Min looks at Q? Melts me. Yes, the plot is silly sometimes, but I watched for the romance and it delivered big time. That rooftop kiss? Perfection. My new comfort series.

I can't believe they baited us with a gritty kidnapping premise and then turned it into a generic rom-com after episode 3. The villain comes back again and again for no reason, and the law enforcement logic is laughable. Ohm and Leng try their best, but even good acting can't save this script from being a disjointed mess. Frustrating watch.

What I appreciated most is that Kidnap doesn't romanticize the kidnapping itself. Min is shown as deeply conflicted, and Q's PTSD is handled with care – he actually goes to therapy! The power dynamics shift naturally and both leads communicate their feelings without toxic drama. A surprisingly mature take on Stockholm/Lima syndrome that respects the victim's autonomy.

I came for the action and Ohm did not disappoint! His fight choreography is crisp and brutal, especially that warehouse scene. Leng isn't as convincing in the brawls, but the stunt work is miles above typical GMMTV. The story lost me in the second half, but I'll rewatch the first few episodes just for the awesome hand-to-hand combat and chase sequences.

I wanted to love the OST, but it's so generic and forgettable. The opening theme is a soft ballad that doesn't match the intense action promised in the trailer. There's one instrumental piece during the emotional scenes that works well, but overall the music feels like an afterthought. At least Ohm's acting kept my ears distracted from the audio missteps.
