In the heat of a high school judo competition in Seoul, three lives collide when reckless fighter Hyeon Woo catches the eye of teammates Ji Seok and Do Jin. Years later, fate reunites the trio in a tangled web of unspoken feelings and unresolved tensions. As Hyeon Woo navigates a budding romance with one, the other harbors a long-time secret crush, threatening to shatter their fragile bonds. Set against a moody, nostalgic backdrop, this indie K-BL miniseries captures the ache of first love, the weight of choices, and the uncertain silence that follows a confession. Though brief, its raw emotion and earnest performances linger like a winter chill.

I'm a sucker for angsty love triangles and this one delivered! The chemistry between the three leads felt so real, even with the short runtime. I wish we had more episodes to let the emotions breathe, but I still got teary-eyed at the final scene. The open ending broke my heart but that's because I cared so much.

Like many others, I found this incredibly confusing. The time jump in episode 2 came out of nowhere, and the love triangle never had enough scenes to feel earned. The acting is decent for rookies, but the script needed serious trimming and focus. Why introduce judo if you're barely going to show it? Watch only if you have absolutely nothing else to do.

Visually, this series has a certain charm – the soft winter lighting, the handheld close-ups, the melancholic color grading. But the camerawork in dialogue scenes is rough, with odd framing that makes you lose track of who's talking. The intro animation is a nice touch, though. I'd love to see these creators with a bigger budget and a proper shooting script.

The OST really sets the mood – I actually added that main piano track to my playlist. But the sound mixing is a mess; sometimes voices are barely audible over background noise. The music itself is heartfelt and fits the longing vibe perfectly. I just wish they'd used it more strategically to cover the choppy editing.

I appreciate the attempt to show queer youth navigating high school and first love, but the way the break-up happens feels like a toxic cop-out. No communication, just hiding and then giving up. The blackmail subplot is handled poorly. For such a short series, they could have focused on healthy consent instead of cramming in every trope.
