Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart! (Uncut Ver.) is a thrilling Thai BL that fuses high-stakes heists with a raw, emotional love story. Joker (War Wanarat) is a charismatic, shape-shifting thief who steals from the corrupt to give back to the poor, living a double life as a charming bartender. Jack (Yin Anan Wong) is a once-idealistic young man forced into becoming a ruthless debt collector to protect his beloved grandmother and pay off a crushing debt. Their worlds collide when a botched heist sends Jack’s life spiraling, creating a deep rift that years later still burns with resentment. Forced to work together on a dangerous scheme to steal a priceless ring—the key to Jack's freedom—the two men must navigate a web of betrayal, brutal violence, and a lingering, undeniable attraction. What starts as a volatile love-hate relationship slowly melts into a fierce, protective bond as they confront a powerful crime boss, a shadowy elite group called the Four Horsemen, and the ghosts of their own pasts. With stunning action choreography, a gripping social commentary on poverty and power, and a slow-burn romance that simmers with intensity, this series is a bold, messy, and unforgettable ride that will steal your heart.

I am absolutely obsessed with Yin and War in this. Their chemistry is off the charts—every glance, every touch, even their arguments feel so real. Joke's transformation and Jack's vulnerability had me crying in episode 11. Yes, the plot is a bit messy, but I didn't care because the romance and found-family vibes completely stole my heart. A must-watch for any BL fan!

I wanted to love this, but the writing is all over the place. Characters make ridiculously stupid decisions, the 'master thief' Joke keeps failing, and the whole Squid Game knock-off subplot felt like filler. The tonal shifts from slapstick comedy to brutal violence gave me whiplash. Yin and War are great actors wasted on a script that needed several more drafts. Watch for the leads, not the story.

If you're here for action, you won't be disappointed. The fight choreography is brutal and real—no flashy nonsense. That first heist at the fashion show? Tense and clever. And the finale's bomb-collar game was ridiculous but incredibly thrilling. War's stunt work as Joke is impressive. Sure, the romance could have been tighter, but I came for the punches and got plenty. Solid entertainment.

Visually, this series is a feast. The cinematography captures both the grit of Jack's debt-ridden world and the glossy, cold luxury of the Four Horsemen's parties. Every heist outfit Joke wears is a masterpiece of costume design. The lighting in the emotional scenes, especially in the hospital, is breathtaking. A few directorial choices felt off, but overall a beautiful production that elevates the material.

I appreciate that this BL actually tried to talk about class struggle, debt traps, and how the system crushes the poor. Jack and Joke's motivations are rooted in real societal pain, not just revenge. However, the message gets lost in the chaotic plot and cartoonish villains. The found-family theme and Joke's relationship with his grandma are touching. A flawed but brave attempt at meaningful BL.
