In the enchanting Thai short film *Is You*, love and reality collide in a mesmerizing loop. The story follows a young man who finds himself reliving the same pivotal day over and over, but each repetition unfolds differently—changing the people around him, his own personality, and the very fabric of his connection to a mysterious stranger. As he navigates this disorienting cycle, he must decide whether to fight against the shifting timeline or embrace the unpredictable versions of himself and his potential soulmate. Blending fantasy, romance, and a touch of philosophical wonder, *Is You* asks a compelling question: if you had the chance to face the same moment again—but altered in strange new ways—how would you choose to respond? A visually poetic and emotionally resonant journey, this Thai gem takes viewers through parallel universes of the heart, exploring identity, fate, and the transformative power of human connection in just a brief, unforgettable runtime.

I absolutely melted watching this! The way the leads look at each other across different versions of the same day gave me butterflies. Even in just 20 minutes, their chemistry felt so real and heartfelt. A perfect little escape for anyone who loves sweet, fate-driven BL.

The concept is interesting but underdeveloped. With such a short runtime, the time loop mechanics feel rushed and inconsistent—why do characters change so drastically? The emotional payoff wasn't earned for me. Still, it's a watchable experiment if you don't expect a tight narrative.

Visually, this short film is a treat. The soft, dreamy color palette and clever use of light shifts between loops create a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere. Each repetition is framed slightly differently, which added a layer of visual storytelling that I really appreciated.

I liked the exploration of how identity can shift across timelines, but I wish the film had more room to address the implications of personality change and consent in relationships. The romance felt a bit too effortless given the premise. Still, it's a thoughtful short that sparks conversation.
