I went in with low expectations because of the rating, but this film really touched me. The quiet tension between the leads felt so real, and I loved how they communicated through glances and small gestures. It's not flashy, but it's honest.

I appreciate what it tries to do, but the pacing is glacial and the script feels underdeveloped. The conflict with the families is resolved way too easily, and the side characters are cardboard cutouts. It's more of a mood piece than a proper story.

The cinematography surprised me—there are some genuinely beautiful shots using natural light and reflections. You can tell the director had a visual vision even with a tiny budget. The color palette shifts subtly as the romance deepens. A feast for the eyes if you appreciate indie aesthetics.

I wanted to love the representation, but the power dynamic between the characters made me uncomfortable. The musician is almost pushy in his pursuit, and the librarian's 'consent' feels more like worn-down resistance. For a film about difference, it could have handled boundaries better.

The soundtrack is the standout element—a melancholic guitar theme that really captures the loneliness of both leads. The original song during the climax gave me chills. Too bad the rest of the film doesn't quite match that emotional peak, but I've rewatched the music scenes several times.
