Struggling ad agency writer Gino Nathaniel Reyes escapes to a secluded resort, desperate to conquer a brutal case of writer's block. His peaceful retreat is disrupted by the resort's moody and enigmatic co-owner, Alex Delos Reyes, who is nursing his own wounds from a troubled past. Their initial friction quickly gives way to undeniable chemistry as they bond over shared loneliness and the healing power of the tropical paradise. *Inn Love* is a lighthearted, whimsical romance that champions self-discovery, the courage to embrace one's true identity, and the idea that love can blossom in the most unexpected places. With a strong, uplifting message of LGBTQ+ acceptance and a refreshingly real, non-traditional leading man, this Filipino miniseries is a sweet, feel-good escape that reminds us all that sometimes the best script is the one written by the heart.

I absolutely adored this! Yes, the plot is simple and the budget is low, but the chemistry between Gino and Alex felt so genuine. I loved that Gino was an ordinary-looking guy—finally a lead I could relate to! And Migo de Vera is insanely gorgeous. The ending had me tearing up. Pure, uncomplicated fluff that made my heart happy.

It's not terrible, but the writing is weak. Alex's sudden feelings for Gino felt undeveloped, and the middle episodes were just filler. The surprise wedding plot point was laughably ridiculous. Still, I appreciate that the show didn't wallow in homophobia and had a nice message. Watch the first two and last two episodes only—you won't miss much.

What stands out is the show's healthy, explicit rejection of homophobic religious rhetoric. Alex's monologue about love being blessed by God was powerful and necessary. However, the female character Kelly is written as a ridiculous, sexually aggressive stereotype that feels uncomfortable. The main relationship treats consent well—no forced situations. A mixed bag but important representation.

I'm a sucker for a good OST, and this series delivered! The catchy, lighthearted guitar melody perfectly matched the breezy resort vibe and emotional beats. Yes it loops a lot, but it's so pleasant that I never got tired of it. The music elevated the simple scenes into something truly charming. One of the better Pinoy BL soundtracks I've heard.

I wanted to love this, but the technical flaws were distracting. The lighting is inconsistent—some scenes are beautifully lit by the pool, others are dark and muddy. The resort itself is a gorgeous location, but the camera work is basic and the sound issues (visible mics in a few shots) broke immersion. The leads have decent chemistry, but the production values hold it back from being visually satisfying.
