In the bustling streets of Bangkok, a chance encounter between two strangers sets off a powerful, slow-burn romance that challenges everything they know about themselves. Karan (Mos Panuwat Sopradit) is a reserved architect leading a double life as a vigilante artist known only as 'Zero,' while Pete (Bank Mondop Heamtan) is a cheerful barista hiding a painful past. When Pete accidentally discovers Karan's secret identity, their worlds collide in a whirlwind of trust, fear, and undeniable chemistry. As they navigate the blurred lines between truth and deception, they must decide if love is worth risking everything—or if some identities are meant to stay hidden. With stunning cinematography and heartfelt performances, Identity Zero is a poignant exploration of self-discovery, second chances, and the courage to be truly seen.

I absolutely melted watching Karan and Pete's story. Their chemistry is off the charts—every lingering look and hesitant touch felt so real. The way they slowly open up to each other made my heart ache in the best way. Definitely one of my new comfort BLs!

While the actors did their best, the plot feels uneven. The vigilante subplot is underdeveloped and raises too many questions—how does nobody notice Karan's double life? Some episodes drag with repetitive conflict. It's sweet but not as impactful as it could have been.

This show is a visual masterpiece. The color grading shifts from warm, cozy tones in Pete's café to cool blues in Karan's secluded studio. Every frame is carefully composed—I paused multiple times just to admire the lighting. The rooftop confession scene is pure art.

The OST is a character in itself. The haunting piano motif that plays whenever Karan paints gives me chills. And the main theme by a local indie artist perfectly captures the longing and hope of the story. I've already added it to my nightly playlist.

The show handles consent and emotional vulnerability fairly well—Pete's trauma is treated with care, and Karan's secret is revealed through honest confrontation rather than manipulation. However, the power imbalance in their initial dynamic could have been discussed more openly. A step in the right direction for BL.
