Dong Min has lived his whole life seeing ghosts, making ordinary life anything but. When he moves into a new apartment, he meets its current resident: Seung Hun, a breathtakingly handsome ghost who refuses to vacate the premises. What starts as a tense standoff between a living tenant and a spectral squatter slowly warms into an unexpected connection. As Dong Min discovers the heartbreaking story behind Seung Hun's unfinished business, the two forge a bond that blurs the line between the living and the dead. With only six short episodes, this Korean BL miniseries delivers a surprising emotional punch, mixing supernatural intrigue with tender romance. Despite its low-budget charm and brief runtime, *Romancing the Ghost* explores themes of loneliness, grief, and the longing for a love that transcends the final boundary. It's a bittersweet, visually atmospheric tale that proves even ghosts can find their happy ending—if they're willing to let go.

I really enjoyed this! Yes, it's short and low-budget, but the chemistry between the leads is so sweet and the story actually made me cry. The ghost's backstory with his ex broke my heart. People are too harsh—this is one of Flying Penguin's best works!

The plot is a mess. It tries to be deep but has zero time to develop anything. Random things happen, the ending makes no sense, and the acting is wooden. I don't mind low-budget, but 5-minute episodes are just lazy. Skip it.

I was really uncomfortable with the scene where the ghost initiates sexual contact while the guy is asleep. It's framed as romantic but it's clearly non-consensual. The show should have handled that better. The rest is okay but that left a bad taste.

Visually it's what you'd expect from a micro-budget production—grainy, flat lighting, and cheap sets. A few shots are nicely composed, but overall it's not pretty to look at. The actors are handsome though, so that helps a bit.

The background music really caught me off guard. It's simple but perfectly underscores the melancholic moments, especially the drinking scene where the ghost talks about being forgotten. That scene stayed with me because of the music.
