Hormones Season 2 plunges back into the chaotic, unfiltered lives of Bangkok high schoolers, diving even deeper into the tangled web of love, identity, and consequence that defined Season 1. This season masterfully shifts focus to individual characters, giving each their own episode-length spotlight to wrestle with escalating stakes: Win's dangerous spiral into substance abuse, Phai's shocking journey through unwanted pregnancy and responsibility, Phu’s painful struggle with his bisexuality, and Dao’s quiet awakening to her feelings for another girl. The series doesn't shy away from the messiness of teenage reality—bullying, family dysfunction, abortion, and the crushing weight of expectations all play out with raw, unflinching honesty. Yet amidst the turmoil, there are moments of breathtaking tenderness: a character realizing they're not alone, a friendship mending, a fragile reconciliation. While some storylines feel frustratingly unresolved, the emotional punch of each episode is undeniable. This is not a fluffy escape; it's a mirror held up to the confusion, heartbreak, and fleeting beauty of growing up, anchored by a phenomenal young cast and a soundtrack that aches with authenticity. For viewers craving a teen drama that respects its audience's intelligence and emotional maturity, Hormones Season 2 is an unforgettable, if bruising, experience.

I live for Phu and Thee's painful, messy story—finally a bisexual character who isn't just a plot device! March's acting during the scene where Phu realizes he's not alone made me sob. Yes, the ending is infuriatingly open, but that's exactly how real life feels when you're young and confused. This season hurt me in the best way.

I appreciate the ambition—each episode focusing on one character is bold—but the writing gets lazy when it leans on the 'still in love with an ex' crutch for every single couple. Win's drug storyline feels romanticized rather than examined. And let's not pretend the ending is satisfying; it's a cliffhanger disguised as artistic choice. Great acting saves it from being a mess.

As a sociologist, I'm impressed by how unflinchingly this series portrays teenage consent, pregnancy, and the emotional fallout of toxic relationships. Phai and Sprite's arc, especially the abortion decision, is handled with more maturity than most adult dramas. However, the gay couple's dynamic is painfully one-sided—Thee deserves better than being a doormat. Realistic? Yes. Healthy? No.

The OST is absolutely phenomenal—I still listen to the guitar tracks from Tar's episodes on repeat! The way each character gets their own musical theme that perfectly mirrors their emotional state is genius. The live band performances feel authentic, not manufactured. This show made me discover several Thai indie bands I now love. Soundtrack elevates every scene to another level.

I'm here for Phu and Thee, and honestly, their angsty push-and-pull is why I binged this season. Thee's quiet suffering and Phu's confused desperation felt so real—I was screaming at my screen for Thee to walk away! The writing doesn't give them a happy ending, but that's what makes it stick with you. Their chemistry is magnetic, even when it's toxic. More screen time please!
