In this provocative Filipino BL short film, a seemingly ordinary household repair spirals into a dangerous game of seduction and blurred boundaries. A charismatic young handyman arrives to fix a simple leak, only to become the object of desire for a couple whose relationship has grown stagnant. Captivated by his effortless charm and magnetic presence, the pair orchestrates an evening of calculated temptation—plying him with drinks and testing the limits of consent. What begins as a shared fantasy quickly escalates as unspoken tensions surface, and the trio finds themselves navigating a charged triangle of power, vulnerability, and raw attraction. Director's Cut promises a more intense, unfiltered look at the emotional fallout, with lingering close-ups and a simmering score that amplifies every stolen glance. This is not a light romance; it's a gripping, sensual thriller that questions where fantasy ends and reality begins, leaving viewers breathless and morally unsettled.

I'm a sucker for intense chemistry, and this delivered. The way the three actors played off each other was electric—every glance felt like a firecracker. The Director's Cut added even more tension. Definitely not for the faint of heart, but if you want a steamy, complicated ride, this is it.

Visually it's gorgeous, but I found the pacing uneven and the motivations thin. Why would the handyman stay after the first red flag? The dubcon element is handled with some nuance, but the script needed more depth to justify the characters' choices. Still, it's bold for a short film.

As a consent analyst, I was deeply uncomfortable with how the seduction is romanticized. The power imbalance between the couple and the handyman (who is clearly intoxicated) is glossed over. I appreciate the attempt to explore gray areas, but the film doesn't critically engage with the harm. Not my cup of tea.

The cinematography alone is worth the watch. Every frame is drenched in moody shadows and warm candlelight, creating a claustrophobic yet seductive atmosphere. The Director's Cut really lets the visuals breathe. If you're a fan of aesthetic filmmaking, this is a feast.

The soundtrack is incredible—a mix of sultry R&B and ambient electronic that perfectly amplifies the tension. I caught myself rewinding just to hear the score again. The story itself is a bit messy, but the music carries the emotional weight. Would love a full OST release.
