In the quiet corners of a bustling Philippine city, two hearts collide in an unexpected love story that defies convention. 'Him Will Be His' follows the tender journey of a reserved young man who finds himself drawn to a free-spirited soul, sparking a connection that neither can ignore. With only two episodes, this miniseries packs an emotional punch, exploring the quiet intensity of first love, the courage to embrace one's true self, and the beauty of finding someone who sees you completely. No dramatic villains or over-the-top conflicts—just raw, heartfelt moments that remind us why we root for love in all its forms. A hidden gem for fans of intimate, slice-of-life romance.

I'm a sucker for soft, understated love stories, and this one hit all the right notes. The leads have this quiet chemistry that felt so real—like watching two people fall in love without any drama. Yes, it's only two episodes, but I cried at the ending. More people need to discover this gem!

I get that it's a short miniseries, but the pacing was too slow even for that. The premise is cute, but nothing really happens—just a lot of longing looks and awkward silences. The acting is decent, but the script needed more conflict or character development. 5.5 on MDL feels fair.

The cinematography surprised me—soft lighting, warm color grading, and some really lovely framing that made the ordinary feel poetic. The music was simple but effective. Unfortunately, the story didn't fully use that visual potential. Still, I'd recommend it for the aesthetic alone if you enjoy low-budget but heartfelt productions.

As a Filipino queer person, I appreciated how the show didn't sensationalize coming out or queer identity—it just showed two guys falling in love in a casual, everyday setting. The representation felt honest. It's not groundbreaking, but it's a warm hug of a series. Wish it were longer though!

I'm a huge fan of compact BL series that respect your time but still give you all the feels. This one delivered! The chemistry between the leads is electric in a quiet way, and the ending left me smiling through tears. Perfect for a cozy evening watch. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sweet, quick romance.
