Zero and Clyde are two young hearts navigating the beautiful chaos of first love in this tender Filipino short film. Zero is a quiet, introspective soul who finds solace in routine, while Clyde is a spontaneous ray of sunshine determined to break through Zero's walls. Their worlds collide in a series of serendipitous moments — a shared umbrella under unexpected rain, late-night text conversations that stretch into dawn, and small gestures that speak louder than words. 'Hi, Pogi!' captures the exhilarating, terrifying, and utterly transformative power of love — the kind that makes you believe the universe truly revolves around two people. With a runtime that packs an emotional punch, this web movie distills the essence of falling for someone: the butterflies, the vulnerability, and the quiet joy of being seen. Filmed with a warm, intimate aesthetic, it’s a celebration of queer love that feels both universal and deeply personal. Perfect for a cozy afternoon watch, this film will leave you smiling and believing in the magic of 'hi' leading to 'forever.'

I'm absolutely swooning! Zero and Clyde have the most adorable chemistry I've seen in a Filipino BL short film. Every glance, every smile — it felt so real. I watched it three times already and I still get butterflies during the umbrella scene. If you want something pure and heart-fluttering, this is it!

It's a cute watch but incredibly predictable — boy meets boy, they fall in love, minor conflict, happy ending. For a short film, the pacing felt a bit rushed, and the dialogue could have been more natural. Still, it serves its purpose as a light, feel-good snack. Just don't expect depth.

The visual storytelling is what sets this apart. The use of golden hour lighting, the soft focus on close-ups, and the color grading that shifts from cool blues to warm oranges as they fall in love — gorgeous. Every frame could be a wallpaper. I just wish the camera lingered a bit longer on those beautiful shots.

The background score is lovely — very acoustic and indie, which fits the intimate vibe perfectly. There's a particular guitar melody that plays during their first date that I've been humming for days. They didn't overdo it with songs, which I appreciate. A little more variety in the soundtrack would have been nice, though.

I appreciate that this film portrays a healthy, consensual relationship without any toxic tropes. Zero and Clyde communicate openly, and there's no jealousy or manipulation. It's refreshing to see queer love normalized in such a gentle way. My only critique is that it lacks any discussion of coming out or societal pressures, which could have added depth.
