HEHE&HE Season 2 picks up after the emotional upheaval of Tat’s departure overseas, leaving Zik adrift in a familiar city that suddenly feels foreign. To cope with the empty space—both in his home and his heart—he takes on a new roommate, the quirky and unapologetically eccentric Sammi. What follows is a vibrant sitcom balancing laugh-out-loud misadventures with raw, honest reflections on love, loss, and reinvention. Zik must navigate the awkwardness of sharing a space with a stranger, the echoes of a broken long-term relationship, and the messy reality of moving on. With its signature blend of deadpan humor, heartfelt dialogue, and a cast of wonderfully flawed characters, this season deepens the series’ exploration of queer friendships, family dynamics, and the bittersweet process of reassessing what you truly want. Despite its low-budget charm, the show shines through its authentic writing and the palpable chemistry between Zik and Sammi, making every episode feel like a warm, relatable slice of life. A hidden gem for anyone craving a thoughtful yet hilarious take on love after the fairy tale ends.

I absolutely adored this season! Zik and Sammi's dynamic is so unexpectedly sweet—they bicker like siblings but then have these quiet moments where you just feel the love growing. The way the show handles Zik's healing without rushing into a new romance felt so real. My heart was full the entire time!

Look, it's charming, but the pacing drags in the middle episodes, and some of the side plots feel like filler. The acting saves a lot, though, and the emotional beats land well enough. It's a solid sitcom that knows its limits, but I wish it trimmed a few episodes for tighter storytelling.

I'm so glad this show exists. It doesn't shy away from showing the ugly side of a long-term relationship that's run its course—the infidelity, the guilt, the messy feelings. Zik's journey is one of reclaiming his own identity, and the show treats consent and emotional boundaries with surprising care. A must-watch for anyone wanting queer storytelling that feels like real life.

The low budget is painfully obvious—flat lighting, occasional shaky cam, and sets that feel like someone's actual apartment. But honestly? That rawness gives it a certain charm. The close-ups capture micro-expressions beautifully, and the color grading gets subtlety right in emotional scenes. It's not pretty, but it's honest.

The background music is surprisingly effective! There's this one guitar riff that plays during Zik's reflective moments that instantly makes me tear up. The OST isn't flashy, but it perfectly underscores the show's bittersweet tone. I've been humming the theme song for days. More BLs should take notes on how music can elevate a simple story.
