Med, the gentle and kind-hearted heir to a wealthy family, dies under mysterious circumstances on his 22nd birthday. Rather than moving on to the afterlife, he becomes a ghost bound to the cemetery where he was laid to rest. For two decades, he waits — watching the living come and go during the annual Ghost Festival, hoping someone might finally see him and help him complete his unfinished business so he can be reborn. That someone arrives in the form of little Thun, a lonely boy who can see ghosts. They forge an unexpected friendship, but then Thun suddenly stops visiting. Years later, Thun returns as a spirited university student drawn back to the cemetery by memories. Now a young man, Thun is determined to uncover the truth behind Med's death and help him move on. As they grow closer, their bond deepens into something neither expected — a love that transcends the boundary between the living and the dead. But can a ghost and a human truly be together? And what will happen when the mystery of Med's death is finally solved? Blending supernatural mystery with tender romance and heartfelt comedy, *He's Coming to Me* is a uniquely soulful BL that explores love, loss, and the lengths we'll go to for the ones we cherish.

I can't believe I waited so long to watch this! Singto and Ohm are pure magic together. Every look, every touch — I felt like I was falling in love right alongside them. The scene on the balcony in the rain had me sobbing. And that ending? Perfect. I've rewatched it three times already. If you want a BL that makes you believe love can conquer anything (even death), this is it.

I see why people love it, but I can't ignore the flaws. The mystery is predictable — I guessed the killer within two episodes. The rules about Mes being a ghost are inconsistent (he can touch people, sleep, but still needs to 'rest'?). The ending felt like pure fan service; I wanted a more logical conclusion. Acting is good, especially Ohm, but the plot needed tighter writing. Worth a watch if you're into the genre, but don't expect a masterpiece.

Visually, this series is a gem. The cinematography uses warm sepia tones for the past and cooler palettes for the present, beautifully highlighting Mes's displacement in time. The graveyard scenes are hauntingly lovely, and the lighting during emotional moments is exquisite. GMMTV rarely looks this polished. I wish more BLs paid this much attention to visual storytelling. The music also deserves praise — the OST perfectly captures that nostalgic, aching feeling.

As someone who read the novel first, I was pleasantly surprised. The drama actually improves on the source material in several ways — Thun's coming out scene with his mother is much more developed here, and Mes's backstory gets more screen time. However, I missed some of the novel's internal monologues that gave depth to Mes's loneliness. The ending is also different; the book was more open-ended, while the drama goes for a crowd-pleasing resolution. Both work, but I slightly prefer the book's bittersweetness.

THE MUSIC. I cannot get the opening theme out of my head — it's so fitting, with that gentle guitar and soft vocals that just wrap you in warmth. The background score during the emotional scenes? Masterful. Every piano note hits exactly when it should. I even downloaded the OST to listen while I work. The sound design elevates every moment, making the ghostly atmosphere feel both eerie and tender. Best BL soundtrack I've heard in years.

I appreciate this series so much for how it handles identity and consent. Thun's coming out journey is painfully realistic — the fear, the tears, the mom's hesitant but loving response. It doesn't fall into the 'I only like you, not boys' trap that plagues many BLs. Mes and Thun's relationship is built on emotional intimacy first, and the physical side comes later, with clear mutual respect. Also, the fact that both leads are gay actors adds authenticity. This is the kind of representation we need more of.

Okay, I know the main couple is amazing, but can we talk about Thun's friends? Prince and Khiem are comedy gold, and the way they support Thun through his coming out and his weird ghost boyfriend is everything. I honestly wished they'd gotten their own little romance arc — the bromance between them had so much potential! Even Praifah (the female friend) is refreshingly not a jealous rival. Everyone feels like a real, supportive found family. I'd watch a spin-off just about them.

The hype is overblown. The mystery is extremely thin — the reveal of Mes's killer is telegraphed from the first episode. The ghost logic is inconsistent: Mes can pick up objects to defend Thun but can't move a paper? Come on. The ending is a total cop-out that undermines the entire premise. I actually laughed at the 'resolution' because it's so absurdly convenient. Ohm and Singto are good actors, but they can't save a script that prioritizes fan service over coherent storytelling. Watch if you want fluff, but don't expect a well-crafted plot.
