Meet Seung Jun, a wedding host and singer who has grown cynical about love after witnessing countless cookie-cutter ceremonies. His life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Jae Hyun, a gentle pianist with social anxiety who lands a gig as a wedding accompanist. As they work side by side, a quiet but undeniable connection blooms—built on shared music, late-night conversations, and the courage to be vulnerable. Adapted from a beloved webtoon, this Korean film is a tender, slow-burn romance that lets its heartfelt moments and gorgeous soundtrack do the talking. It’s a story about rediscovering hope in love when you’ve all but given up, perfect for anyone who believes that sometimes the simplest melodies can change everything.

I’ve had 'You and Me' in my playlist for years without knowing it was from this film. The moment it played at the wedding, I was in tears. The music is the soul of the story—every song perfectly captures the characters’ emotions. The slow-burn romance is gentle and real, and Byun Sung Tae’s piano rendition of 'My Heart' absolutely destroyed me. A must for anyone who loves BL with a killer soundtrack.

Seung Jun and Jae Hyun are just adorable together. Their chemistry isn’t explosive—it’s the kind that sneaks up on you, built on shared silences and little acts of care. I loved how Jae Hyun’s social anxiety was handled, and the ending made me smile for hours. If you want a cozy, feel-good BL that feels like a warm hug, this is it.

I appreciate the music and the leads are easy on the eyes, but the storytelling felt incomplete. They introduced side characters like the surfing instructor Lim Ho Yeon with intriguing depth, then just abandoned them. I needed more 'why' behind certain behaviors. The last third meanders, and the resolution feels rushed. It’s a pretty film but not a satisfying narrative.

The cinematography is gorgeous—soft lighting, muted color palettes, and intimate framing that makes every piano scene feel like a painting. The wedding venues are stunning, and the way the camera lingers on small gestures tells half the story. It’s not the most ambitious visual work, but it’s clean, romantic, and effective. My inner film geek was satisfied.

As someone who read the original webtoon, I was nervous about the adaptation. The film keeps the core sweetness but skips many of the side stories that made the webtoon richer. Jae Hyun’s internal monologues are mostly lost, which is a shame. Still, the main couple’s journey remains intact, and the music elevates the experience. Not perfect, but a faithful enough tribute for fans.
