In the sprawling, competitive world of show business, inseparable brothers Leung and Ming cling to each other as they chase their acting dreams in the big city. Their bond, already deeper than typical sibling affection, becomes a sanctuary against rejection and loneliness. As they share cramped apartments, audition setbacks, and stolen moments, an unspoken tension grows between them. One night, a fragile boundary is crossed, shattering the quiet intimacy they've built. Leung is forced to confront a truth he can no longer deny—but the cost of that revelation may be the very family that anchors him. Graupel Poetry weaves a haunting, atmospheric tale of forbidden love, psychological suspense, and the brutal price of breaking society's most sacred taboo.

I know the incest theme makes people uncomfortable, but the chemistry between the brothers is so raw and desperate that I couldn't look away. This film captures what it feels like to love someone you're not supposed to—it's heartbreaking and beautiful in a twisted way. Not for everyone, but if you're open, it hits hard.

The premise is interesting, but the execution is a mess. Pacing is glacial, the acting is stiff at times, and the so-called 'thriller' elements never really pay off. It feels like an overlong short film that mistakes silence for depth. I appreciate the attempt at something taboo, but it's not well-crafted.

I went in curious about the taboo, but the film romanticizes an incestuous relationship without any critical examination of power dynamics or consent. The brothers' bond is portrayed as pure and inevitable, which feels irresponsible. I need more than just 'forbidden love is sad' to buy into this narrative.

Visually, this film is a hidden gem. The color grading leans heavily on muted grays and blues, mirroring the emotional coldness. There are some beautiful tracking shots through narrow alleys and cramped apartments. Unfortunately, the story doesn't match the visual ambition—it's all mood, no substance.

The score is actually quite haunting—there's a piano motif that repeats during key emotional moments and it really stays with you. But the sound mixing is uneven, and some dialogue scenes are drowned out by ambient noise. If they had put more care into the audio post-production, this would have been more immersive.
