I really wanted to love this because the premise is so heartbreaking and beautiful. The connection between Gou Huan and Mei Lun felt genuine, even with the silent first part. But switching actors mid-way totally broke the immersion for me, and the ending left me frustrated rather than moved. Still, it's worth a watch if you're into angst.

I can't overlook the glaring production flaws. The first video has no dialogue audio—just subtitles—and the second part suddenly replaces one lead actor without any in-story justification. The narrative feels incomplete, and the whole thing seems like an amateur project that didn't get proper funding. The emotional beats are there, but the execution is messy.

The first part's silent aesthetic is intriguing but feels like a gimmick rather than a deliberate choice. I appreciate the attempt at visual storytelling, but the abrupt actor change hurt the visual continuity.

I'm a sucker for good OST, and the second part's background music is genuinely touching—it carries the emotional weight when the dialogue falls short. Too bad there's a copyright claim warning on the YouTube video, which makes me wonder if the soundtrack is original. Still, the music saved this short series for me. Wish the first part had audio too.

I appreciate the attempt, but it needs more depth in handling consent and healing.
