Shao Tang, a psychic burdened by his own supernatural gifts, is desperate to break the thousand-year-old curse that has entangled his boyfriend, Zhou Jun Chi, in a cycle of suffering. In a bold and risky move, he seeks out a mysterious girl known for communicating with the 'God of Bed,' hoping a ritual will sever the ancient bond. But as Shao Tang delves deeper into the occult, he unravels a twisted conspiracy that blurs the lines between love, sacrifice, and dark magic. Balancing eerie ghostly encounters with the tender pulse of a love that has endured centuries, this Chinese supernatural romance offers a fresh take on reincarnation and devotion. While the production may feel rough around the edges, the emotional core — two souls fated to find each other again — keeps you rooting for their escape from a legacy of horror.

Not a sequel to Ghost Boyfriend at all — completely unrelated. The thousand-year curse premise had potential, but the plot was a mess and the execution wasted everything. At least the first movie had kissing; this one barely has a bromance. Han Jing Cheng is hot though, so that's one star.

I came for the gay romance but got a confusing horror film with almost no chemistry between the leads. The 'thousand years' backstory is sweet in concept, but the actors barely share any tender moments. If you want real BL love, skip this.

The murky lighting and choppy editing screamed low budget. Some shots try to be creepy, but the color grading is muddy and the ghost effects are laughable. If you care about visual storytelling, this is a painful watch.

The music is barely memorable — I can't recall a single track after finishing. A few eerie background notes try to build tension, but they're drowned out by poor audio mixing. The soundtrack adds nothing to the experience.
