In the bustling world of Thai university life, Fuse, the handsome and popular engineering student, is baffled by his own singlehood. When a routine dental cleaning introduces him to Dr. Ana, a kind-hearted dentist with a smile that could melt glaciers, Fuse feels his heart skip a beat for the first time. What starts as playful flirting quickly escalates into a whirlwind romance, but their journey is far from smooth. Set within the beloved 'En of Love' universe, *Future* follows the instant connection between Fuse and Ana as they navigate the chaotic highs and lows of a new relationship. From jealous friends and overprotective parents to misunderstandings that threaten to pull them apart, the couple must learn to communicate and stand firm in their love. This short, six-episode series offers a fast-paced, fluff-filled story with a focus on young love, self-discovery, and the importance of fighting for what you want—and who you want. While some viewers find the pacing rushed, others appreciate the no-nonsense approach to romance and the heartfelt parent acceptance arc towards the end.

I absolutely adored Fuse and Ana! Yes, the plot is a bit messy, but their chemistry is undeniable. Fuse's whiny 'P'Ana' melts my heart every time. I also loved how they stood up to their parents - it's so refreshing to see characters actually fight for their love instead of giving in. If you want a quick, fluffy watch with some angsty moments, this is perfect.

The romance is so rushed it becomes laughable. They fall in love within minutes, then spend episodes fighting over nothing. The side characters take up way too much screen time while the leads barely get quality moments together. I counted only 8 minutes of just the two of them in the final episode. The parents' arc was decent, but overall this feels like a plot that should have been two episodes, not six.

I'm concerned about the consent issues. There's a dub-con kiss where one character forces himself on the other, and it's never properly addressed. The female friend who keeps trying to 'steal' Fuse from Ana is problematic - it paints women as jealous homewreckers. The parental homophobia is realistic, but the 'solution' feels too easy. Also, the age gap dynamic with a minor and a dentist is uncomfortable, even if they brush past it.

Having read the original novel, this adaptation is a huge letdown. The novel had more depth and slower character development. They completely cut out important subplots, and the relationship felt organic in the book - here it's just instant love with zero foundation. Also, why recast Gun and Bar if you're not going to use them properly? The actors were fine, but the script did them dirty.

I actually didn't mind the story as much as others, but the SOUND is unbearable. The background music is way too loud and overpowers the dialogue constantly. There's this gritty noise in several scenes like someone hit a microphone, and the volume jumps up and down randomly. The OST itself is cute (the opening theme is catchy) but the audio mixing ruins the immersion. Watch with good headphones and be ready to adjust volume often.
