What starts as a simple, no-strings-attached arrangement between two close friends quickly spirals into something far more intense in this Filipino web film. Mark and Leo have always been there for each other, so when they decide to explore their physical desires with a clear boundary of 'no feelings,' it seems like the perfect solution. But as the lines between friendship and passion blur, suppressed emotions begin to surface—especially when Leo discovers that Mark has been hiding a deeper, unspoken love. The situation ignites a chain reaction of jealousy, misunderstanding, and ultimately a shocking betrayal that tests the very foundation of their bond. Set against the vibrant backdrop of modern Manila, this short but emotionally charged romance captures the messy reality of loving your best friend while trying to keep things casual. With raw performances, honest dialogue, and a gripping narrative that unfolds in real time, 'Friends with Benefits' is a must-watch for anyone who believes that some rules are made to be broken—and some hearts are made to be mended.

I can't stop thinking about this movie. The chemistry between Mark and Leo is off the charts—every time they looked at each other I felt my heart break a little. The ending destroyed me but in the best way possible. If you love messy, real romance, this is for you.

Visually, this is a gorgeous short film. The lighting in the nighttime scenes and the intimate framing of the conversations really sold the tension. I only wish it were longer—some plot points felt rushed, but the cinematography alone is worth watching.

The acting is good and the concept is relatable, but the betrayal reveal came out of nowhere and felt a bit forced. I wanted more buildup to justify Leo's reaction. Still, it's a solid short film for a rainy afternoon, just don't expect perfect logic.

I appreciate that the film addresses the emotional consequences of mixing friendship with physical intimacy. However, the way Mark's hidden confession was handled raises some red flags about consent and boundaries. It's a thoughtful watch if you're ready to discuss those themes.

The soundtrack! That indie guitar track that plays during the confession scene gave me chills. The music perfectly underscored every emotional beat. I've been searching for the song ever since I finished watching—it really makes the film unforgettable.
