In the vibrant Taipei music scene, Neil was the charismatic lead singer of the hit band Magnet until a tragic car accident claimed his brother and bandmate Matt. Devastated and unable to face the stage, Neil retreats from the spotlight. Six years later, he crosses paths with Sea, a gifted music student who was once his biggest fan. While Neil is haunted by grief and stage fright, Sea carries his own hidden wounds. When a record label steps in to revive Neil’s career, Sea is brought on to write and perform alongside his idol, sparking a journey of healing, rediscovery, and an unexpected love that blooms through shared melodies. This Taiwanese series weaves a beautifully melancholic yet hopeful story about letting go, finding your voice again, and the transformative power of music and connection.

I absolutely fell in love with Neil and Sea. Their chemistry is off the charts, and every scene they share together feels intimate and real. The way Neil slowly opens up through music and Sea’s unwavering devotion had me crying happy tears. This is the kind of healing romance that stays with you long after the credits roll.

Reese and Orca completely stole the show for me. Their bilingual love story felt so authentic—communicating through broken English and learning each other’s languages was a beautiful touch. I only wish we got more of their development instead of just glimpses. Still, they made the series worth watching.

I wanted to love this more, but the pacing killed me. The first few episodes hooked me, then it got bogged down in repetitive flashbacks and a meandering middle. The romance felt rushed despite the slow burn, and the ending with the 'school project' twist left me scratching my head. Decent acting, but poor script execution.

The OST is hauntingly beautiful—especially 'I Believe' and 'Broken Sun.' Charles Tu’s voice is amazing, and the songs really capture the emotions. My only complaint is that they used the same track way too many times. If they had composed a full album, this could have been a 10. Still, the music alone makes it a worthwhile watch.

I appreciate how the series handles grief and mental health—it doesn’t sugarcoat the messy, ugly side of crying and trauma. The language barrier between Orca and Reese is depicted realistically, with both characters making an effort. However, Sea’s backstory is frustratingly vague, and the age gap dynamic involving a former idol-fan relationship could have been explored more carefully regarding power balance.
