I'm a sucker for soft Japanese BL, and this one delivered exactly what I needed. Shimizu Naoya and Kimura Bun have such natural chemistry—the way they look at each other makes my heart flutter. It's a slow, comforting watch perfect for lazy weekends.

The premise is sweet but the execution drags in the middle episodes. Too many repetitive domestic scenes without enough narrative progression. It's fine for background noise, but I wanted more conflict or deeper exploration of the senior's secret.

I appreciate that the series handles power dynamics gently—no coercion, just two people learning to communicate. However, the lack of explicit consent conversations (especially around the secret) felt like a missed opportunity. Still, a decent watch with good intentions.

The background piano OST is absolutely gorgeous—it carries every emotional beat perfectly. I found myself rewinding just to hear the theme that plays during their rooftop scene. A rare BL where the music feels like a third character.

Visually, it's beautiful—soft lighting, warm color grading, and lovely framing of their shared apartment. The cinematography elevates simple moments like making tea or folding laundry into something intimate. Not groundbreaking, but very pleasing to the eye.
