I'm a sucker for crime BLs, and this one delivered the gritty, atmospheric tension I've been craving. The Hong Kong setting is so underused—the neon lights and back-alley shadows really elevate the story. The leads have incredible chemistry, but the pacing drags a little in the middle episodes.

Just and Rule broke my heart and put it back together. The slow-burn is agonizing but so worth it. Every time they locked eyes I felt like I couldn't breathe. If you love intense emotional payoff with a side of danger, this is your show. The ending had me sobbing.

I wanted to love it, but the crime plot has more holes than a bullet-riddled wall. The gangster logic doesn't hold up, and some character decisions are just frustrating. The romance is genuinely good, but the thriller side needed tighter writing. Fine if you're here for the feels, not for the whodunit.

I appreciate that the show doesn't romanticize Just's work in the bar, but I wish it had addressed the power dynamics between Rule (a lawyer) and Just (a vulnerable sex worker) more explicitly. The tension is well-acted, but the consent conversations were missing. Still, it's a big step for Hong Kong BL tackling real-world issues.

Finally, a BL that doesn't shy away from realistic fight scenes and gang showdowns! The stairwell brawl in episode 6 was incredible—raw, messy, and so intense. The romance is fine, but I stayed for the underworld intrigue. Hope they do more action-heavy BLs like this.
