Every You, Every Me is a daring and deeply romantic Thai BL series that redefines the soulmate trope through a dazzling anthology structure. Across eight episodes, we follow the same two actors, Top and Mick, as they portray different couples in five distinct love stories—a whimsical world where rain reveals your soulmate in color, a classic boss-secretary romance, a heart-wrenching tale of a mechanic and a dying pilot, an enemies-to-lovers between a washed-up musician and a painter, and finally, a meta-narrative about the actors themselves. Each story is a fully realized universe, yet they seamlessly weave together through clever framing: these are the fictional projects of a real-life couple, Pun and Inn, whose own off-screen relationship bleeds into their on-screen chemistry. With stunning performances, diverse tropes, and a masterful twist that connects every narrative, this series is a celebration of love’s infinite incarnations and the power of storytelling. Prepare to laugh, cry, and be utterly captivated.

I'm an absolute sucker for soulmate stories, and this series gave me five different love stories with the same actors – each one more swoon-worthy than the last. The chemistry between Top and Mick is electric in every universe, and the way they switched from soft to steamy had me kicking my feet. The final twist made me cry happy tears. This is pure romance gold!

I appreciate the ambition, but the pacing was all over the place. Episode 3-4's tragedy would have hit harder if they explained the illness earlier, and episode 7-8 dragged unnecessarily. The meta-structure is clever, but the execution feels rushed, especially in the final arc. Still, the actors' versatility is undeniable – I just wish the writing matched their talent.

Visually, this series is a feast. Each universe has its own color palette – the desaturated rain world, the warm sepia of the CEO office, the moody blues of the graveyard. The cinematography in episodes 5-6 with the golden hour guitar scenes is absolutely stunning. Even the 'meta' set looks like a real production. A masterclass in visual storytelling.

X and Namping's story (episodes 3-4) completely wrecked me – it's the kind of tragic, obsessive love I live for. Top's portrayal of the fragile pilot and Mick's gruff mechanic with a heart of gold was perfection. I sobbed the whole episode. Even though it's technically one of the 'fake' stories, it felt the most real to me. Give me more painful, yearning romances like this!

I was pleasantly surprised by how the series handled consent and identity. The first episode's abusive ex-boyfriend was portrayed realistically without glamorization, and I loved the aroace representation with Sun's friend Heng – a rare and respectful nod. The later stories also avoid toxic power dynamics (the CEO doesn't abuse his position). It's not flawless, but it's a thoughtful step forward for BL.
