Sun is a hapless debt collector who can't seem to close a deal. When his father sends him to a picturesque island to collect a debt from the enigmatic resort owner Arthit, Sun expects a routine job. Instead, he gets entangled in a web of misunderstandings, rivalry, and unexpected attraction. Arthit, a smooth-talking hotelier, refuses to pay and instead offers Sun a deal: work for him to settle the debt. As Sun struggles to navigate his new job and his growing feelings for Arthit, he discovers that his father’s plan is more complicated than it seems. Set against stunning beach vistas, *Even Sun* is a chaotic, sun-drenched romantic comedy about second chances, found family, and learning to let go of the past. Featuring beloved BL actors Boun and Prem, this six-episode miniseries delivers playful bickering, gorgeous scenery, and a heart that—despite its flaws—shines through.

I live for BounPrem! Their scenes together are pure gold – Prem's comedic whining and Boun's cool, teasing attitude made me smile every episode. The beach setting is gorgeous, and the ending was satisfying. Sure, the plot is a bit messy, but who cares when you get these two handsome faces bickering and falling in love? I’ll watch anything they do!

The only reason I finished this was Mangkorn and Ashing. Their little boxer romance was adorable and they had actual chemistry – I wanted a whole series just for them! The main couple felt rushed and confusing, but these two saved the show for me. More screen time for them would have made this a 10.

What a mess. The story jumps around with no logic, characters act randomly, and the main romance appears out of nowhere. Too many couples crammed into six episodes means none of them get proper development. I kept asking 'what is going on?' The only positive is the location, but that can’t save a broken script. Skip this unless you’re a die-hard BounPrem completionist.

Visually this is one of the prettiest BLs I’ve seen. The color grading makes the island look like a paradise, and I loved how Sun’s wardrobe gradually shifts from dark city clothes to lighter, beach-appropriate outfits – a nice touch. The shots of the ocean at sunset are breathtaking. Too bad the writing wasn’t on the same level, but as eye candy it’s worth a watch.

I’m really disappointed that suicidal ideation was treated as a joke, and there were multiple instances of non-consensual kissing and manipulation played for laughs. The show doesn’t seem aware of how problematic these portrayals are. The cast works hard, but the writing fails them on a fundamental level. It’s not okay to romanticize coercion, even in a comedy.
