Kim Min Jun is a 30-year-old office worker trapped in a monotonous 9-to-5 routine, haunted by the ghost of his first love. Eight years ago, a single misunderstanding shattered his relationship with the charismatic Chae Jin Hwan, leaving Min Jun with deep emotional scars and a belief that their love was nothing more than a painful memory. When Jin Hwan unexpectedly joins the same publishing company, their professional worlds collide, forcing them to confront the unresolved feelings and buried truths of their past. Through a series of poignant flashbacks, we witness the raw beginnings of their relationship—youthful, clumsy, and brimming with hope—and the miscommunications that tore them apart. In the present, Jin Hwan is determined to win Min Jun back, but Min Jun’s walls are fortified by insecurity and fear. This emotionally charged second-chance romance explores whether love can survive time, trauma, and the weight of unspoken words. With breathtaking chemistry and intimate storytelling, *Business as Usual* captures the bittersweet journey of two people learning to trust again, one vulnerable step at a time.

I am completely obsessed with Min Jun and Jin Hwan—their chemistry is off the charts! Every glance, every kiss, that scene in episode 5? I literally melted. Yes, Min Jun is frustrating, but his vulnerability makes the romance so much sweeter. I watched all six episodes twice already. Give me more K-BLs like this!

I can't with Min Jun. The whole conflict could have been resolved in one conversation, but instead we get six episodes of him moping and treating Jin Hwan like garbage. The airport scene was just laughable—he literally says they're incompatible, then two seconds later declares his love. Make it make sense. A wasted premise with pretty actors.

The cinematography in this series is absolutely stunning. The warm lighting in the flashback scenes versus the cool blue tones in the present perfectly mirrors their emotional journey. Every frame is composed like a painting, and the intimate scenes are shot with such tenderness—the close-ups on their hands, the soft focus. Director Min Chae Yeon has an incredible eye.

While I appreciate the exploration of how past trauma affects current relationships, I'm uncomfortable with how Min Jun's emotional volatility is romanticized. He repeatedly pushes Jin Hwan away, then pulls him back—a classic push-pull dynamic that can be toxic in real life. The show doesn't really address healthy boundaries, and that bothers me. Beautiful acting, questionable messaging.

The OST really carries the emotional weight of this drama. That soft piano motif that plays during their flashbacks? Heartbreaking. And the ballad that swells during the airport scene—I've had it on repeat for days. The music knows exactly when to whisper and when to soar. It elevated even the messiest moments for me.
