When Sade’s husband vanishes during a business trip to Korea, her world shatters. Desperate for answers, she hires a mysterious and dangerously handsome driver, Pluem, to retrace her husband’s last known movements. As they navigate a labyrinth of dead ends, hidden cameras, and whispered secrets, an undeniable chemistry ignites between the lonely socialite and the enigmatic man behind the wheel. But every turn reveals a darker layer—nothing is as it seems, and trust is a luxury neither can afford. I went in blind and I'm glad I did. The mystery kept me hooked even though the first 30 minutes drag a bit. But once the driver and the wife start connecting, the tension becomes electric. That one scene in the car... wow. Not perfect, but definitely a hidden gem for BL thriller fans.

This tries to be a noir thriller but trips over its own ambitions. The twists feel forced, and the supposedly hot romance fizzles because the chemistry is more awkward than passionate. The rich wife character acts anything but rich, and the driver’s motivation is paper thin. Only the production design saves it from a lower score.

Visually, this film is a masterpiece. The use of neon reflections on rain-slicked streets, the opulent mansion interiors, the harsh sunlight contrasting with dark secrets—I was in awe. The story does take its time, but I didn’t mind because every frame is so carefully composed. This is how you make a low-budget indie look expensive.

As a story about a woman reclaiming agency, it fails. She’s constantly manipulated, and the sexual violence is handled with a troubling lack of sensitivity. The gay romance, while nice, doesn’t excuse the way the female lead is used as a plot device. I appreciate the attempt to merge genres, but the ethics of the storytelling need serious rethinking.

The soundtrack is the unsung hero here. That haunting synth theme that plays during the driving sequences really sets the mood. I wish the audio mixing was better in a couple of scenes, but overall the music elevates the atmosphere. Not a classic BL, but worth a listen with good headphones.
